Our story

We sold it. We missed it. We took it back.

For years this kitchen was The Little Indian Cafe — Clayton South’s neighbourhood table for butter chicken, dosa, buffet and bucket biryani.

We sold the shop about a year ago. The place never left us. Now the original family is returning, renaming the restaurant Subbu’s Kitchen, and rewriting the menu from the ground up.

Doors open again in October 2026. Come hungry. Tell your friends we are home.
